Two people are in custody after a possible synthetic drug lab bust in White Rock. As part of an ongoing investigation, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia executed a search warrant on a house in the 800-block of Parker Street around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A 46-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested inside the house, where officers also found substances and paraphernalia indicative of what they believe to be an illegal synthetic drug lab.
The RCMP’s Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR), a federal police unit specializing in dismantling drug laboratories, was called in to process the contents found inside the house.
Charges have not been laid, and it is not believed that there is any risk to the public.
