Huron County OPP have arrested two men in connection with a major drug bust in Central Huron. On Tuesday, officers searched a residence on Orchard Line and seized cannabis marijuana, cannabis resin, cocaine, oxycodone tablets and psilocybin. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $222,000.
Police also seized marijuana growing equipment and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
OPP have charged a 45 year old man and a 19 year old man – both from Central Huron – with production of marijuana, possession of marijuana, cannabis resin and oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking and possession of cocaine and psilocybin.
Both accused have since been released from custody. The 45 year old suspect is scheduled to appear in court on June 20th in Goderich while the 19 year old accused is due in court on July 8th.
