A man is dead after crashing into a cement sound barrier in Regina early Saturday morning. Police were dispatched at approximately 1 a.m. CST to Diefenbaker Drive, west of Pasqua Street N. after a report of a single vehicle accident.
The vehicle had been travelling west on Diefenbaker Drive and had failed to make the curve. It left the roadway and crashed into a cement sound barrier wall.
The driver was a 19-year-old man. There was no one else in the vehicle.
EMS were on the scene and confirmed he was dead due to injuries.
Police said it is still unknown what contributed to the crash, but police and the coroner office will continue to investigate.
