Police in Labrador are investigating a motor vehicle collision on Wednesday that killed a 30-year-old Natuashish woman. RCMP said the crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Pokue Street in Natuashish, where a pickup truck, with six people inside, rolled over numerous times.

The woman, a passenger, was pronounced dead on the scene. One of the other occupants, a 23-year old woman, remains in hospital with no word on her condition.

The other four people in the vehicle received minor or no injuries, RCMP said.

Police don’t believe anyone was riding in the bed of the truck, although the Natuashish RCMP detachment, along with the assistance of its traffic services unit, are still investigating.
