A man is in hospital with serious facial wounds after being attacked in a car park in one of Perth’s southern suburbs. A 23-year-old man is in hospital after being attacked in what appeared to be a road-rage type incident at a car park in Woodman Point.
It is believed the victim was sitting in his car when a man in another car repeatedly rammed into him.
Police, who were called to the area around 8am on Sunday, said both men exited their vehicles when one of the men used a weapon to assault the other.
The victim received wounds to his face, arms and head, with a facial injury considered serious but not life-threatening.
He has been taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Police said they had found the attacker’s car nearby but the man had fled.
It is understood forensics are examining the abandoned vehicle.
Police are still searching for the attacker.
