A New Brunswick man has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges. RCMP say the Saint Johnman was accused of making child pornography by secretly filming members of his family and neighbours.

The man was charged with production and possession of child pornography, two counts of voyeurism, and breaching an undertaking.

The police investigation began May 2015.

Two victims under the age of 14were identified, as well as two adult.

The man cannot be named due to a court-imposed publication ban on any information that could identify his victims.

In addition to his prison sentence, RCMP say the man will be placed on the National Sex Offender Registry for life, and will have to submit a sample to the National DNA Database.
