One person has died and another person was injured in an early Monday fire at a Clermont County home. Multiple agencies responded to the 4:30 a.m. fire in the 6200 block of Hollow Wood Circle, near the Wards Corner Road exit off I-275.
Two people were taken by medical helicopter to Bethesda North Hospital for injuries sustained during the fire.
One person died and the other, the homeowner, has been released from the hospital, said Miami Twp. Fire Chief Steve Kelly.
The deceased was identified by the Hamilton County Coroner’s office as 47-year-old Michael Sloan. Sloan died at Bethesda North, and the cause of death was listed as “house fire.” The cause of the fire is under investigation.v
