A senior in Brampton is dead and a suspect 25 years his junior is in custody. It was just after noon that Peel Regional Police were called to a home in Brampton’s Fleetwood Cres. and Clark Blvd. area, where they found an 82-year-old man who had been stabbed. He was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, but died soon after.
A 57-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
“There is no concern for public safety at this time because it is an isolated incident,” said Peel Police spokesman Const. Lori Murphy, who wouldn’t say if this was a domestic incident or not. “At this time we are not releasing the details of the relations.”
Murphy also couldn’t say if there were others in the home at the time of the alleged stabbing.
